 Christmas Congratulations!
Congratulations to:
Scott Sims of Rutherfordton
He won the recliner courtesy of The Recliner Center on
Coopers Gap Road in Rutherfordton. His name was drawn from the numerous cards
mailed in to WCAB.
Also, many heartfelt thank yous go out to our listeners.
Again you came to the rescue to help us make this Christmas special for a
family that would not have had one had it not been for our listeners.
Our family this year was a family of six; mom, dad and four
children. Mom has cancer. She had lost over 10 inches of her intestine, she has
bladder and hip problems. The family needed everything.
On Friday morning at
9:30am employees of WCAB loaded up Jim's Durango, Lou's Escape, Todd's pick-up,
Tracy's Honda, and a couple of other trucks including a full size pick-up
full of wood. We received gift cards, grocery cards, cash, towels, wash cloths,
blankets, clothes and toys.
Thank you Rutherford County for stepping up again
to help us help a family have a very Merry Christmas.
